We
have already gotten used to the fact that different platforms for
viewing audiovisual content over the Internet, such as Netflix, give us a
free trial period to fully test them, so we decide whether we will
continue to use them over time but as subscribers.
But Netflix decided to cancel the one-month free trial period in a number of countries in some Arabic-speaking countries and other countries, with the exception of Brazil, as well as Italy and Canada.
However, it is likely that this removal will not be permanent and will at some point be able to return to users, especially considering that the free month is still available in countries such as the United States, Brazil, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Andorra.
What we do not know at the moment is the standard they chose to choose a series of countries rather than other countries, if the affected countries can get a free trial period again or not.
What is also not known is whether these tests have anything to do with the future launch of new Apple and Disney competitors, where Netflix would be willing to expand its new competitors in a number of markets.
